The gift from the Louis DeJoy and Aldona Wos Family Foundation will support one of Elon University’s top priorities—growing the endowment to increase financial aid for outstanding students.

The DeJoy/Wos Family Foundation has supported the Winston-Salem Open, a men’s professional tennis tournament played on the ATP Tour at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, since its debut in 2011. Louis DeJoy began sponsoring the event when he was Chairman and CEO of New Breed Logistics, and in 2015 continued the sponsorship through the DeJoy/Wos Family Foundation.

For the 11th consecutive year, the family has supported the Wyndham Championship and proudly sponsored the Wednesday Pro-Am, titled “The Louis DeJoy & Aldona Z. Wos Family Foundation Wednesday Pro-Am.” Louis DeJoy began sponsoring the Wednesday Pro-Am when he was Chairman and CEO of New Breed Logistics, and in 2015 continued the sponsorship through the family foundation.
